In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. Payment is expected when services are rendered. Payment plans are available througha third party finance company called CareCredit, please see below for more information!

We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit, American Express & CareCredit) and checks with identification and TeleCheck* approval.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. North Shore Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into monthly installments. One of the payment plans is a No-Interest 6 Month plan!

You can either apply at our hospital, where we'll help submit your application for immediate approval, or apply yourself online. Apply for Care Credit by clicking here.

Many of our clients have been approved for Care Credit, even when they didn't think they would qualify. Please call us for more information or with any questions.

*What is TeleCheck?

The TeleCheck Electronic Check Acceptance® (ECA®) service converts a paper check into an electronic item at the point of sale. The ECA service allows retailers to accept checks as quickly, safely and easily as they accept credit cards. Think of it as a check without the paper.

When you present your check to our front desk staff, your check is authorized through a specially-designed, secure TeleCheck system that captures banking information and the amount of the check. Once the check is approved, you'll receive a receipt of the electronic transaction to sign. When you sign the receipt, you will receive a copy for your records along with your check to keep. It's that simple.
